He was predeceased by: his wife Linda McIlwee (Birchfield); his parents, William McIlwee and Mary McIlwee (Bergamo); and his sisters, Eileen and Margaret.
He is survived by: his son William (Janet); his brother Hugh (Nancy); and his goddaughter Traci (Cecil). He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
