He is survived by: his wife Bettye Rogers of Indio, CA; his children, Dionne Rogers-Skinner (Ben) of Cathedral City, CA, Shawn Rogers of Indio, CA, Stacey Slade (Mother) of Carlsbad, NM and Marini Rogers (Mother) of Spanaway, WA; his grandchildren, Nessa Crawford of Indio, CA, Donyae Rogers of Cathedral City, CA, Sekeena Skinner (Balik Skinner), Delano Slade (CJ Slade) and Quintin Thomas Jr. (Amina Thomas); his great grandchildren, Arie Rogers, Zoey Rogers of Cathedral City, CA and Khaliq Wilson; his siblings, Charles Rogers, Jackie Rogers, Larry Rogers of Hobbs, NM, Danny Rogers (Felisha) of Carlsbad, NM., Sammie Batie, Brenda Wiley (Fletcher) of Lubbock, TX, Becky Johnson and Lisa Moore of Carlsbad, NM.; and his siblings-in-law, Mildred Coleman, Ada Burton of Carlsbad, NM, Rebecca Day of Atlanta, GA, Naomi Jackson (James) of McDonough, GA, Henry Austin (Diane) of Carlsbad, NM, Wash Austin (Gayle) of Houston, TX and Alvin Austin of Carson, CA. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
