It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Banigan (Carlsbad, New Mexico), born in Riverside, California, who passed away on November 15, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy M. Banigan and Letha Banigan (Anderson). He is survived by: his wife Betty Banigan (Chafin); his stepdaughter Renea Lopez (David); his grandchildren, Monique Beaver (Mark), Tesla Stanley (Joel) and Davina Lopez; his great grandchildren, Gage Crawford, Bryce Beaver, Landon Holmes, Morgan Stanley and Jessie Lopez; his nieces, Theresa Chism and Bonnie Murdock; his nephew Reed Chism; and his pets, Sophie, Thumbelina and China.
He requests contributions to Character Counts or Friends of the Library in lieu of flowers.
