He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard L. Steffan (Marjorie Ellen Parker Steffan) and Montanna; and his wife Myrna Steffan. He is survived by : his sons, Wayne V. Steffan and Michael (Natalie Steffan).

A funeral service was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Edward Catholic Church (209 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
