It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Stell (Carlsbad, New Mexico), born in Ardmore, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 5, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Bonnie Beam; her children, Cathy (Kinzer), Jim Stell (Janine) of Gainesboro, TN and Linda Stell of Carlsbad, NM; her sons-in-law, Grant Kinzer and Jim Hawk; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jimmy, Kye, Drew, Cody, Jordan, Jennifer, Endee, Kacie and Jacquelyn; her nieces and nephews, Rhonda Stell, Phil Stell, Diane Peachey and Jere Stell; her husband Joe M Stell Jr.; and her daughter JoBeth (Hawk). She was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing situation with Covid-19, services to honor Verna's life will be set for a time in which family, friends can safely gather to celebrate her legacy.
She was active with the Sheriff's Possiettes, The Boys & Girls Club, The American Cancer Society, The Women's Club, North Mesa Senior Citizen's Center, and the American Contract Bridge League.
