He is survived by: his fiancé Alana Rodriguez of Carlsbad, NM; his children, Zoey Melendrez of Carlsbad, NM and Zayveon Melendrez of Carlsbad, NM; his stepchildren, Mercedes Rodriguez of Carlsbad, NM, Seriah Rodriguez of Carlsbad, NM, Hector Nava of Carlsbad, NM and Zephaniah Nava of Carlsbad, NM; and his siblings, Jeremy Melendrez of Carlsbad, NM, Ashlee Garcia (Ruben) of Carlsbad, NM, Tammy Scharnell King of Idabel, OK, Tangy King of De Kalb, TX and Anitra Minner of Roswell, NM. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
