He is survived by: his wife Eddie Chavez; his sons, Eric Chavez (Felicia), Steven Chavez (Karli) and J. J. Chavez (Kim); his grandchildren, Taylor June, Andrew, Katelyn, Camden, Kai, Kaydence and Krista; his siblings, Ben Chavez (Rosa), Alicia Bernal, Robert Chavez (Cindy) and Beatrice Nelson; and also Erin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
