It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Castillo Sr. (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Teodoro Castillo and Erminia Castillo (Pedroza); his wife Esperanza Castillo; his daughters, Hortencia Ramirez, Lilly Garcia and Cecilia Castillo; his siblings, Manuel, Joe, Rafael Castillo and Maria Trujillo; and his great great grandchild Yovanni Burris.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Castillo Jr. (Oralia), Albert Castillo (Hortencia), Jay Castillo, Christopher Cooper and Gabriel Cooper (Jinavy); his grandchildren, Carlos Ramirez Jr., Robert Castillo III, Laurie Castillo, Rosie Gonzalez, Andrea Castillo, Evelyn Castillo, Annie Garcia, Noel Ramirez, Norma Ramirez, Nick Ramirez, Nathan Ramirez, Xavier Castillo, Javier Castillo and Zya Castillo; and his siblings, Concha Buendia, Enocencio Castillo (Wero), Tony Castillo, Lupe Castillo, Connie Collier and Carmen Hernandez. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.
