He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Saiz (Juarez) and Ben G. Saiz; his wife Annabelle Saiz; and his siblings, Manuel Saiz, Joe Saiz, Rosa Chavez, Celia Medrano and Mercet Saiz.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Garcia of Carlsbad, NM, Angel Saiz of Artesia, NM, Robert Saiz, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM and Michael Saiz of Carlsbad, NM; and his siblings, Roy Saiz, Sal Saiz, Ben Saiz, Reymundo Saiz, Mary Jane Fuentes and Lorina Muniz. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
