He was predeceased by: his wife Paula; and his siblings, Ray Urquidez, Gilbert Urquidez, Sr., Moises Urquidez, Sr., Sammuel Urquidez, Rosa Escobar and Velma Marquez.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Joe Hernandez; his children, Joe Hernandez, Barbara (Joe Hernandez) of Parker, CO and Raul Urquidez, Jr.; his wife Glenda of Arizona; his sister Erminia Castillo of Carlsbad; and his grandchildren, Janelle Armendariz (Omar) of Parker, CO, Josselle Hernandez, Joe Brandon Hernandez of Carlsbad and Kelly Moraga (Johnny) of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
