He is survived by: his parents, Raul Navarrette and Rosalia Navarrette of Loving, NM; his pet Jasper; his wife Celina Navarrette of Carlsbad, NM; his children, Breanna Gutierrez (Julian) of Carlsbad, NM, Kristopher Valdez and Jayden Whitzel of Carlsbad, NM; his grandchildren, Rowen Gutierrez of Carlsbad, NM and Jeremiah Gutierrez of Carlsbad, NM; his siblings, Rosanne Porras (Samuel Jr.) of Carlsbad, NM, Raul F. Navarrette, Jr. of Loving, NM and Rebecca Bocanegra (Humberto) of Longmeadow, MA; his nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Timothy, Kevin, Joshua, Justin, Isaac, Rjay, Ayden, Allana, Luca and Nico; his parents-in-law, Alex and Annabelle Lucero; his brother-in-law Felipe Lucero; and his niece-in-law Athalia Prado. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
