He is survived by: his brother Larry Dodson of Carlsbad, NM; his granddaughter Janay; his stepdaughters, Beth Spillman, Jessica and Katie Gibson of Carlsbad, NM; his nephew Michael Dodson of Fort Worth, TX; his sons, Colby, Keith Dodson (Michael) of Alamogordo, NM and Kevin Dodson (Christy); his grandchildren, Kolt and Kaden of Maricopa, AZ; his niece Jennifer Dodson of Carlsbad, NM; his great-nephew Zachary; his granddaughter Amber (Leah Hutchins); his great grandchild Sage Hutchins (Heather); his cousin David Dodson (Sharon) of Carlsbad, NM; his sister-in-law Janet Dodson of Carlsbad, NM; his nieces and nephews, Leslie McDonald and Donnie Gibson of Centennial Co; his close friend Billy Warren (Illene) of Carlsbad, NM; and also, Christopher Cannon and Riley Cannon. He is also survived by many cousins, extended nieces and nephews and countless friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
