He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Amaya and Oscar Amaya; his significant other Mary Lou Dominguez; and his sisters, Virginia (Luz Quintana) of Carlsbad and Belia (Jimmy Broughton, Sr.) of Carlsbad. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
