With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora R. Yañez of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Alpine, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rodriguez and Carlota Rodriguez (Vega); her husband Francisco D. Yañez; her son Paul Anthony Yañez; and her siblings, Neto Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Jr., Dario Rodriguez, Mary Lou Ramirez, Fernado Rodriguez, Anita Scholl and Linda Rena.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Yañez of Carlsbad, NM, Lisa Granger (Jody) of Carlsbad, NM, Frank Yañez of Carlsbad, NM and Danny Yañez of Carlsbad, NM; and her grandchildren, Chelsie Sachez (Manuel), Nico Barrera, Dylan Barrera (Hayden), SaVana Salcido (Ryan), Mary Jo Granger, LiaNora Johnson (Parker), Joe Rio Granger and Anthony Galvan (Kathrynn). She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
