He is survived by: his wife Cheryle Janway; his children, Scott Janway (Kendra), Robin Spay (Matt) and Stephen Janway (Jessica); his grandchildren, D'Lanie Cartwright (Channing), Scotti Janway, Kaitlyn Zuniga (Jeremias), Morgan Love, Miles Love, Mac Armstrong, Jordan Spay (Ani), Ashlyn Gudeman (Caleb), Alex Spay, Justus Janway and Grant Janway; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Spay and Beckett Gudeman; his sister Jeanette Young; and his cousin Jimmy Fuson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at 1502 W Mermod St, Carlsbad, NM 88220. A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Carlsbad Cemetery (1506 Boyd Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
