He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeferino Morán and Catalina Morán; and his sisters, Elvira Morán and Gregoria Morán. He is survived by: his wife Velia Morán of Carlsbad, NM; his children, Cecilia Meraz of Carlsbad, NM, Gerardo Morán (Yolanda) of Carlsbad, NM, Elvira Morán Martinez (Esteban) of Mexico, Carmen Morán of Mexico, Javier Morán (Nadia) of Mexico and Oralia Morán Lozano (Martin) of Mexico; and his siblings, Leonor Morán, Socorro Morán, Ignacia Morán and Jose Morán. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren.
