She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Dominguez and Juanita Ybarra (Jaramillo); her son Adrian Martinez; and her sister Yolanda Navarro. She is survived by: her children, Ray Martinez (Monica) of Carlsbad, NM, Alonzo Martinez of Midland, Jimmy Martinez (Jeanette) of Carlsbad, NM and April Martinez (Frank Rodriquez); and her brother Jesse Rivas (Marisela). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13, great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A vigil service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (1002 Debaca St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
