She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfonso M. Lovis and Martha Lovis (Hinojos); her husband Eliberto U. Navarette; her siblings, Luis H. Lovis, Felipe "Phil" Lovis and Beatrice Lovis Branson; and her granddaughter Katrina Gutierrez.
She is survived by: her sister Celia L. Castaneda; her children, Rudolf A. Navarette (Connie), Yolanda Streeper (Steve), Christina Heitzman (Mike), Cindy Gutierrez (Danny), Nelda Salcido (Raul), Valerie Johnsen (Dag) and Melissa Howerton (Jason); and her grandchildren, Eric Navarette (DeLynda), Nicholas Navarette, Pamela Pedraza (Jose), Wade Streeper (Becca), Necole Streeper, Rusty Heitzman (Melissa), Kristopher Heitzman, Joseph Heitzman, Candice Anciso (Kris), Jennifer Gutierrez, Tiffany Gutierrez, Casey Gutierrez, Jenell McNew (Tobyn), Joslyn Bales (Benji), Kirsten Johnsen, Miranda Grant (Luke), Emily Alkhatib (Moe) and Josh Howerton. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and step grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
