It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Sherman Williams of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Huntington, Utah, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Pringle Sherman; her husband James R. Williams; her father Glain Sherman; and her siblings, Ruby Lapp, Earl and Joe Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Rodney Williams (Claudia) of Carlsbad, Anita Hitchens (Kent) of Carlsbad, Kevan Williams (Tonia), Nevan Williams (Hong) of San Antonio, TX, Trina Gonzales of Carlsbad, Becky Lange (Doug) of South Jordan, UT and Jeff Williams (Kimberly) of Parker, CO; her grandchildren, Jason, Casey, Kellie, Shelly, Scott, Troy, Tessa, Lucas, Amy, Jeremy, Cody, Kasen, Jennifer, Gentry, Kenzie, Alyssa, Kent, Holly and Chelise; and her siblings, Zelma Burdett, Louise Heiniger, Shirlene Hammonds, Arland, Keith, Lynn and Richard Sherman. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
