She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria De La Paz (Guzman) and Timoteo De La Paz; her husband Frank Fuentes, Sr.; her daughters, Nancy Hobby-Fuentes and Frances Torres; and her brother Ricardo De La Paz.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Hernandez (Ruben) of Austin, TX, Cynthia Sotelo (Jose "Nene") of Carlsbad, NM, Belinda Gutierrez of Carlsbad, NM, Rosalinda Ybarra of Carlsbad, NM, Christina Coronado of Carlsbad, NM, Frank Fuentes, Jr. (Katy) of Carlsbad, NM and Lisa LaMaster (Scott) of Alva, OK; and her siblings, Gloria Tanguma of San Diego, TX, Sylvia Betterton of Midland, TX, Nolia De La Paz of San Antonio, TX, Elva Amesquita (Richard) of Midland, TX and Timoteo De La Paz, Jr. of Carlsbad, NM. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.
