She was predeceased by: her parents, Elisandro Onsurez and Ester Fierro; her husband Benjamin Ortiz; and her brother Thomas Vasquez. She is survived by: her sons, Ben, Daniel, John, Mike and Tim Ortiz; and her brother Don Fierro. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Funeral Home Chapel (401 N Guadalupe St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (112 N Alameda St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
