She was predeceased by: her parents, Eulalio Castillo and Rita Castillo; her husband Elutrio Ortega; her children, Melody Castillo, Edward Castillo and Hazel Castillo; and her siblings, Salvador Castillo, Abel Castillo, Consuelo Reese, Mary Montano, Esther Sarabia and Elvira Carrasco.
She is survived by: her pet Tiny; and her children, Jim Sanchez of Presidio, TX, Rudy Castillo (Jolanda) of Carlsbad, NM, Tim Briones of Loving, NM, Leroy Duran of Arizona, Irene Ramirez (Manuel) of Carlsbad, NM and Martha Huddleston of North Carolina. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
