He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Roy Harris and Irene Julia Harris (Lewen); his wife LaVerne Ruth Harris; and his sisters, Lynn Abbott and Katherine Wilbourn.

He is survived by: his children, Anna Marie Sues (Joe), Margaret "Peggy" King of Carlsbad, NM, Joanne Louridas, Michael Harris (Laura) and Theodore "Ted" Harris; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Laura, Daniel, David, Christopher, Alexandra, Renee and Michael. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
