She was predeceased by: her former husband Clifford Van Vliet; and her son Barry Van Vliet. She is survived by: her husband Blaine Hayes; her children, Alan Van Vliet (Michelle) and Joyce Crider (Rick); her stepson Theodore Hayes (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Philip Huston (Diana), Danielle Crider, Natalie Milner (Shane), Isaiah Hayes and Trinity Hayes; her great grandchildren, Abigail Huston, Hannah Huston, Naomi Huston and Benjamin Milner; and her siblings, Yvonne Greer and Jerry Krohn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home Chapel (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Carlsbad Cemetery (1506 Boyd Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
