He was predeceased by: his parents, W. T. "Red" Tidwell and Winnie Grace Tidwell; and his brothers, Hulon Wood, Wendell Wood and Thomas C. Tidwell.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Tidwell of Carlsbad, NM; his daughters, Sherry Tidwell of Carlsbad, NM and Ruth Tidwell of Lubbock, TX; and his brother Robert Wood (Burma Lynn) of Greenville, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial contributions to be made out to Lakeview Christian Home, 1905 W. Pierce St. Carlsbad, NM 88220.
