She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bryan" Maxey and Mildred "Bernita" Maxey (O'Neal); her grandson Joshua Oakley; and her siblings, Simeon Maxey, Don Maxey and Nita Booth.
She is survived by: her husband David Oakley of Carlsbad; her children, Lori Craig (Scott) of Lubbock, Texas, Kristi Oakley of Lubbock, Texas and David Oakley (Alese) of Idaho Falls, Idaho; her grandchildren, Jacob Hickey, Haley Hickey, Kaitlyn Pruet (Benton), Kyle Viney, Bryan Viney, Kimberly Viney, Zoe Oakley, Quinn Oakley, Allison Craig and Nicholas Craig; and her brother Franklin Maxey (Naomi) of Corpus Cristi.
