It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Dennis MacDonald (Carlsbad, New Mexico), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Cowart and Wanda Cowart (Johnson); and her son Kit Dennis. She is survived by: her children, Van Dennis of Hobbs, NM, Jon Dennis of Memphis, TN and Renee Laird of Carlsbad, NM; and her grandchildren, Stevie Dennis, Ana Williams, Morgan Fields, Melanie Strong, Barbara Pieschke, Erin Dennis, Jeffrey Dennis, Zachary Dennis, Casey Dennis, Trent McGuire, Morgan Vega and Ryan McGuire. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
