It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edgar Cain of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Cain and Tommie Cain Carlson; his stepfather Walter Carlson; his brother-in-law Dale Oney; and his pet Baby.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Dickman of Carlsbad, NM; his daughters, Cynthia Lester of Casa Grande, AZ, Jonna Williams of Boaz, AL and Tasha Broach of Roswell, NM; his grandchildren, Kendra Lester, Jesse Lester, Tiffany Bleeker, Wilma "Kylene" Cain, Haley Broach, Jarrod Broach, Jr., Marshawn Broach and Nevaeh Broach; his stepchildren, Sean Likens of St. Louis, MO, Tonia Mitchell (Glen) of Santa Rosa, CA, Jason Dickman and Jeannie Desrosiers of Sommers, NY; his stepgrandchildren, Kiera Mitchell and Ella Mitchell; and his siblings, Joe Cain, Jr. (Lolita) of McAllen, TX and Jennie Oney of Carlsbad, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his friends.
