He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Granger, Sr. and Ascension Saenz Granger; his wife Mary Bernal Granger (Adame); his sons, Larry and Bobby Granger; and his brothers, Tom, Michael, Henry and Gilbert Granger.
He is survived by: his children, Betty Granger, Delma Buendia (Joe-Aldolfo) of Carlsbad, NM, Jerry Granger of Carlsbad, NM, Charlie Granger (Angela) of Carlsbad, NM, Jody Granger (Lisa) of Carlsbad, NM, Gary Granger of Carlsbad, NM, Eddie Granger of Carlsbad, NM, Edmund Granger (Mary Ann) of Carlsbad, NM and Lonnie Granger (Cynthia) of Carlsbad, NM; and his siblings, Adam Granger of Lubbock, TX and Alice Quiroz (Manuel) of Lovington, NM. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren.
