It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe F. Perez of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Perez and Clorinda Fresquez; his brother Frank Fresquez; and his father-in-law Jimmy Lara. He is survived by: his wife Alejandra Lara (Sandra); his children, Joe John (Monica) of Bardstown, KY and Amanda (Shane) of Bardstown, KY; his grandchildren, Jazmyn, Audrie, Harley Perez, Nate and Nash Traylor of Bardstown, KY; his mother-in-law Goya Lara; his siblings, Belson Fresquez (Mary) of California, Carolyn Perez of Ruidoso, NM, Emma Garcia (Robert) of Carlsbad, NM and Augie Fresquez of Carlsbad, NM; and his close friend Sam Martinez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
