It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Lewis of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Lakewood, New Mexico, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sisters, Viora "Whirty" Millman and Sadie Dickson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lewis; his daughters, Pam Bilberry (Jay) of Artesia, NM and Dana Hodges (Scott) of Lubbock, TX; his grandchildren, Justin Bilberry (Chelsea), Josh Bilberry (Anna), Tara Wood and Joe Clay Hodges (Katy); his great grandchildren, Kylynn, Jed, Natalie, Jax, K'Anne, Jace, Evelyn and Barrett; and his great great grandchild Jameson. He is also survived by numerous other extended family and friends.
