He was predeceased by: his parents, William Archie and Pinkie Vanzant (Holloman); his wife Lois; his brothers, Archie Eugene Vanzant and Paul Vanzant; his children, Sharon Vanzant Grande, Leonard Craig Peterson and Paul Peterson; and his niece Judy Peterson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Vanzant (Nancy) of Carlsbad, Ruth Joslin of Carlsbad and Cleo Baxter of Palos Verde, CA. He is also survived by 7 children, 24 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
