It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jackie Jenkins of Carlsbad, New Mexico, born in Lordsburg, New Mexico, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lee Henry Jenkins and Jessie Thelma Collins; his wife Gynna Thornton; and his children, Robin "Jedree" Moore (Robin) of Carlisle, Iowa, Lynn Estrada (Howard) of Gallup, NM, Jacky Jenkins II of Las Cruces, David (Donna) of Roswell, NM and Johnathan (Robyn) of Albuquerque. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
