It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Childress (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on April 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Childress to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry R Childress and Nellye Childress; his brother Don Childress; and his grandson Shane Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his children, Nita Shank (Dan) and Brad Childress (Laura); his stepchildren, Venessa Gwynne and Lance Fowler; and his grandchildren, Shawnah LeClair, Brandon Childress and Courtney Childress. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that a donation in honor of Jack be given to Affirming Heart Advocacy, 1313 W. Mermod St. Carlsbad.
