He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hull Wallen, Sr. and Sarah Lucille Wallen (Barrett); his wife Gladys Wallen; and his grandsons, Craig Stephen Wallen and Beau Matthew Wallen.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Anderson (William Anderson) and Dr. Stephen L. Wallen (Elaine) of Carlsbad, NM; and his grandchildren, Melissa Olson (Tim), Martin Anderson and Seth Wallen (Crystal). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
