With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerardo Dennis Chavez of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on December 25, 2020 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otilia and Guillermo; his sister Lori; his daughters, Miranda Chavez and Katie Chavez; and his brothers, Gustavo Chavez and Gilbert Chavez. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Jerry's favorite charity, Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
