He was predeceased by: his mother Blanche Bickerstaff; his wife Connie Bickerstaff; and his brothers, E. E. Bickerstaff, Jr., Curly Bickerstaff and Henry Bickerstaff.
He is survived by: his children, Lynda Bickerstaff of Carlsbad, NM and Andy Bickerstaff of Ruidoso, NM; and his grandchildren, Jody Williams, Scotty Williams, Jill Sowers, Molly Sowers, Kristopher Bickerstaff, Tyler Kimball and Gage Bickerstaff. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
