It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eva Carrasco Vasquez (Carlsbad, New Mexico), born in Loving, New Mexico, who passed away on July 14, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Carrasco and Albina Carrasco (Rubio); her husband Juan G. Vasquez; her sons, Johnny R. Vasquez and Sammy C. Vasquez; her stepfather Damas Calderon; and her brothers, Juan, Ruben and Abel Carrasco.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Walker of Carlsbad, NM, Rose Ann Romero (Mark) of Capitan, NM, Liz Nedler of Albuquerque, NM and Mary Morales of Carlsbad, NM; her grandchildren, Danielle Vasquez, Lindsey Walker and Adrianna Romero; her great grandchildren, Daniel, Kaiah and Harper; and her siblings, Manuel "Chito" Carrasco of Carlsbad, NM and Emma Gallegos of Albuquerque, NM..
