She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Juan Carlos; her pet Dora; her husband Roberto M. Melendrez; her children, Raul Melendrez and Rosemary "Shorty" Alvarez; her siblings, Fernando, Carlos, Amailo, David, Jose, Juvenico Gonzales, Margarita Minjares and Francesca Santos; and her children, Robert Melendrez, Nila Rinehart, Senida Sanchez, Ida Hernandez, Elsa Castaneda, Erma Melendrez and Particia Brown. She was also cherished by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
