We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2024, at the age of 75, Eli Duarte of Carlsbad, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvador Duarte and Refugia Duarte (Gallegos); his son George Duarte; his grandson Michael Martinez; and his siblings, Josie Duarte of Hobbs, NM, Virginia Duarte and Frank "Poncho" Duarte.
He is survived by: his children, Clarissa Duarte (John Duran) of Carlsbad, NM, Jeff Duarte (Rebecca Gomez) of Hobbs, NM, Angela Escareno of Carlsbad, NM, Michael Hernandez of Phoenix, AZ and Jimmy John Rodriguez of Carlsbad, NM; and his siblings, Loudes Duarte, Rick Duarte (Grace), Victor Duarte (Arlene), Zeke Duarte and Cruz Duarte. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
