It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eduvijen Calderon (Carlsbad, New Mexico), who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicente Hinojos and Erlinda Hinojos; her husband Catarino Calderon; her son Abel Hinojos; her grandsons, Jerry Deporto and Joel Deporto; and her siblings, Manuel Hinojos, Jose Hinojos and Ester Acosta.
She is survived by: her children, Elsa Hinojos of Carlsbad, NM, Jose Luis Hinojos (Cecila) of Pomona, CA, Ramon Hinojos of Carlsbad, NM, Javier Hinojos (Charlotte) of Waterford Township, MI, Gloria Miranda of Albuquerque, NM, Michael Hinojos of El Paso, TX and Daniella Calderon of Carlsbad, NM; and her siblings, Lidia Naverette of California and Ruben Hinojos of North Dakota. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
