She is survived by: her husband Santiago Vela, Sr.; and her children, Olga Ramirez, Richard Vela, Ruben Vela, Ramiro Vela, Deborah Vela, Robert Vela and Rudy Vela. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
