He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Worthington Garringer and Fanny Garringer (Dossey); his siblings, Bill, Hervey, Christopher, Doris, Velma, Marie and Dee; and his grandson Skyler Garringer.
He is survived by: his wife Mackie Garringer; his children, Mike Garringer (Deanna), Judy Garringer Tapia (Gilbert) and Trina Garringer Lee (Robert); his grandchildren, Keeley Watkins (Mike), Kristen Galbraith (Chris), Don Ross Sanchez (Jennifer), Brittany Dawn Garringer, Kyle Sanchez (Davrie Martin) and Kimberlyann Garringer; and his sisters, Dorothy Sue, Vera Bolin and Joy Schmedel (Dave). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
