It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores A. Brown of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Calloway and Dorothy Calloway; her husband Edwin Brown Sr.; her grandparents, David, Mildred Owens, Ben and Anest Calloway; her sister Carolyn Dottie Satcher; and her aunt Clima Washington.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin Brown Jr. of Carlsbad, NM, Eric Brown of Monticello, AR, Brandi Brown of Greensburg, LA and Megan Brown of Greensburg, LA; and her sisters, Kathryn (Larry Phillips) of Alamogordo, NM, Mildred (George Henderson) of Carlsbad, NM and Valerie Thompson of Macon, GA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Carlsbad Cemetery (1506 Boyd Dr, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
