He is survived by: his children, Brenda Buendia, Hector Marrufo, Daniel Buendia, Jr., Ryan Buendia (Michelle) and Destiny Soto (Omar); his grandchildren, Janay Buendia, Ryan Buendia, Jr. and Jhyress Soto; and his siblings, Norma Munoz (Tony), Armando Buendia (Romelia) and Joshua Buendia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the San Jose Catholic Church (1002 Debaca St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
