Though Charlotte Clarie may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luke A. Williamson and Mary Ryan (Ward); and her husband Vaughn Burton, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Vaughn Burton, Jr. (Jeri) of Las Vegas, NV, Jerry Burton (Connie) of Carlsbad, NM, Ronnie Burton (Carol) of Carlsbad, NM and Lisa Autrey (Frank) of Locust Grove, OK; and her friend Mary Lavona Howell. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
