It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Waldrop of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on May 28, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecil Waldrop to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Cecil and Jessie Mae Waldrop (Scarber); his wife Erma Jean Waldrop; his grandson Kyle McGilvray; and his siblings, Detley, Vernon Waldrop, Wanda Bradshaw and Mary Faye Ford.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Waldrop (Becky) of Carlsbad, NM and Carol McGilvray (Darrin) of Carlsbad, NM; his grandchildren, Justin Waldrop, Ashley Rainwater (Ron), Ryan McGilvray (Stephanie), Lane Waldrop (Lindsey Cooper) and Chance McGilvray; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Dru and Daxton Rainwater; and his siblings, Ray Waldrop (Judy) of Carlsbad, NM, Truett Waldrop (Rory) of Hobbs, NM and Nadine Nix (Bill) of Aztec, NM. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
