He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Raines and Mary Carpenter; and his brother David P. Raines. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Raines of Carlsbad; his sons, David L. Raines of Carlsbad and Daniel S. Raines of Irving, TX; his grandchildren, Hannah Raines of Artesia, David Lucas Raines of Carlsbad, Trace and Benjamin Raines of Irving, TX; his great grandchild Layla of Carlsbad; his sister Patricia Bryan of Sierra, AZ.; and his grandson Lucas.
