She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Perritt and Thelma Perritt (Johnston). She is survived by: her husband Pat Florez; her sons, Todd Florez (Sandra), Kevin Florez (Jennifer), Jarod Florez (Cassie) and Brady Florez; her grandchildren, Brad Brewer, Isaac Florez, Bryanna Florez, Kylee Giblin, Kirstin Madron, Jerakah Madron, Gaige Madron, Kaydynce Frazier, Brandon Florez, Braden Florez and Dylan Florez; her great grandchildren, Haven, Alexa, Christian, Natalie, Jonah, Kaelyn, Jameson, Willow and Kinlee; and her sister Darla Florez (Fernando). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Denton-Wood Funeral Home (1001 N Canal St, Carlsbad, NM 88220). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (605 N 6th St, Carlsbad, NM 88220).
