It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ashton Brannan of Carlsbad, New Mexico, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Bob and Elsie Gains; his grandmother Bobbie Brank; and his great-grandparents, Ralph and Clara Brannan.

He is survived by: his parents, Bruce Brannan and Bobbi Brannan (Gaines); his siblings, Justin Brannan and Katie Brannan; and his grandparents, David and Hazel Brannan. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

“I am at a loss for words. Ashton was very special, I cared about him so much. We would talk everyday about everything. We had some trips planned that we were both excited about. I thought he was mad at me or something because he just disappeared. I had no idea he had passed I’m crushed. Sending prayers and love to his family. Ashton will be truly missed. I feel like my heart has been ripped out.”
